I visited Italy not to long ago and I got a chance to visit Rome, Florence and Venice all in one visit. Italy is one of my favorite places that I have visited thus far.

The country is so rich and full of color and life.  Italy kind of reminds me of New York.  Everything is close together and within walking distance.

What I love about the Italians is that they really know how to enjoy life.  They are not afraid to relax and kick their feet up.  Americans can learn a lot from therm.  We don’t take the time out to value the present.  We work but there’s no play not realizing that you can’t get your time back.  Once it’s gone its gone.

The food is also amazing.  U.S. Italian food is nothing compared to Authentic Italian food.  The food is so rich and fresh.  And the gelato there is magnificent.  There is nothing like it in the world.  I especially enjoyed  the espresso since I am a coffee lover.

Out of all three cities that I visited I have to say that Venice is my favorite.  I am still amazed how that entire city floats on water.  Walking through Venice feels like you are walking through a labyrinth.

I gained so much insight on how the Italians live  but most of all I gained some amazing friendships.  I learned while in Italy that if there is something that you want to do, DO IT NOW!  You don’t have forever.  You have to remember on day you will die and you will think back what was it all for.  Learn to relax and go with the flow  and do as the Romans do!
